Funerals are as much a celebration of someone’s life as they are a day to mourn their passing. The memories and friendships we leave behind are eternal, and this should be a day that reflects a person’s true legacy.
My approach to this is to create a ceremony unique to the loved one who has passed. Be it by discussing their favourite pastimes, playing their favourite song or simply listening to stories of what they achieved in life.
